Position: After School Tutor

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (hourly basis)
Work Location: 7504 Bay Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11214
Salary: $16-$18 per hour

We are recruiting passionate and creative college students to provide fun and inspiring after-school
tutoring for children aged 5 to 12.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to students with their homework assignments, offering guidance and clarification as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff members to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by closely supervising students during various activities and ensuring their well-being.
• Pick up students from school

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, or equivalent. Education, Linguistics and relevant majors are preferred.
• College students
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), able to stimulate children’s interest in learning.
• Caring, patient and responsible for children
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
