New York Chinese Baptist Church affiliates with American Baptist Churches USA. It is a 70 year old church of 80 members situated in Manhattan's Chinatown.

    We are committed to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Chinese community through in person and Zoom worship, Sunday school, Bible study, and fellowships for various age groups. Our mission is to equip and strengthen the body of Christ with the Word of God and be the salt and light of the world.

    Throughout the year, we actively participate in local evangelical outreach in our community in collaboration with other Christian churches. We also extend financial support to local and overseas missionaries, seminaries, and para church organizations.

    Majority of our congregation is Cantonese speaking immigrants. The English congregation averages 20 in its current worship service.

    The age profile of the church is rising, and there must be fresh growth among younger people in order to plan for the future of the church. Our challenge is attracting families from the local community and connecting with them, so that effective evangelism can bring new people to faith.
