波士頓華人佈道會是一所歷史悠久的非宗派教會,創立在波士頓華埠,並在麻州牛頓市設有分堂。我們是一所有跨代信徒、操兩文三語的華源教會,會眾群體分別有六個:操英語、國語及粵語為主的各有兩個。
職位 Position 1: 粵語堂牧師/傳道
粵語堂牧師/傳道職位簡介
本會現誠聘一位全職粵語牧師/傳道人,牧養牛頓分堂的粵語會眾。目前牛頓分堂的粵語主日崇拜平均出席人數為150至170人,會眾主要來自中國南方及香港。這職位須要與牛頓堂的教牧團隊合作,一同帶領粵語堂會眾。根據應徵者的恩賜與經驗,未來有機會擴展職責範圍。
主要事工職責
講道、教導及靈命塑造:
- 統籌及協調主日粵語崇拜,定期預備及負責釋經講道。
- 在特別聚會、節期活動與佈道事工中講道與教導。
- 設計並帶領查經班、主日學課程與專題講座。
- 與教牧團隊合作,透過門徒訓練和師徒訓練建立及裝備平信徒領袖。
- 提供個人牧養輔導與靈性指引。
- 裝備會眾在家庭、職場及社區中實踐信仰。
關懷會眾及領導事工:
- 領導並監督多項粵語事工,包括:
- 牛頓粵語堂事工核心團隊
- 關顧和探訪
- 小組牧養
- 橫跨不同年齡層的粵語團契
- 佈道與外展(如三元福音佈道法、啟發課程、老人公寓探訪、其他外展活動)
- 禱告事工(如週二晚線上禱告會與主日代禱團隊)
- 提供婚前輔導,主持婚禮與安息禮拜,並在哀傷或危機中給予支持。
- 定期探訪會友,給他們牧養,跟進靈命成長。
參與全教會事工:
- 與其他牧者及會眾領袖合作,推動教會整體異象、事工及跨堂址及語言群組的外展。
- 參與全教會聯合崇拜、聯合團契、領袖訓練退修會與節期性的外展活動(如復活節、聖誕節、宣教月)。
- 為全教會性的活動如浸禮、會籍班、門徒訓練、宣教動員等事工提供教牧支援。
- 與教會領袖合作,促進跨會眾的合一並建立共同使命。
- 代表粵語堂參與跨會眾的會議、規劃與策略決策。
團隊合作及行政事務:
- 與牛頓堂教牧同工和事工團隊協作,整合異象、事工、外展服務計劃及資源。
- 支援並配合主任牧師處理行政與全教會事務。
- 管理粵語堂事工的財政預算,並參與長期事工規劃。
- 若符合長老資格,參與教會長老會的服侍。
- 按需要參與執事會會議及與粵語事工相關的委員會或專責小組。
資格條件
- 優先考慮:具有五年或以上在華源教會擔任牧養或領袖事工經驗,尤其是在跨文化與跨代的環境中。
- 具備帶領事工、按聖經講道、培育領袖及牧養百人以上會眾的實際經驗。
- 曾從事對華人移民及第二代華人社會的外展事工者更佳。
- 熟悉粵語/華人散居教會所面對的當代議題。
- 流利粵語,能以英語良好溝通,懂普通話者更佳。
- 擅長人際關係、組織能力與溝通技巧;具備導師或門徒訓練的經驗;如有行政或管理經驗更佳。
- 具備團隊合作精神及僕人領導風格。
- 屬靈生命穩固,符合提摩太前書3:1–7及提多書1:5–9所列的牧者資格。
- 認同並遵守 BCEC 的章程、信仰宣言、使命、異象與價值觀。
- 擁有神學、道學或相關科系的學士學位或以上,或具備同等的神學教育背景。
- 曾被同信仰的教會按立為牧師者更佳。

Position 2: Director of Children’s Ministry (Newton Campus) 兒童事工主任
Church Description
Boston Chinese Evangelical Church (BCEC) was founded in 1961 with an initial mission to reach Chinese immigrants in the Boston area with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. For over six decades, BCEC has expanded to include not only the immigrants but also individuals from all backgrounds. Today, we gather in six congregations using three languages (English, Cantonese, Mandarin) each Sunday and midweek ministry activities across two campuses in Boston’s Chinatown and Newton, all for the purpose of worshipping God, edifying each other, and sharing God’s Good News to our communities.
Newton Campus Children’s Ministry Description
We aim to offer a safe and loving environment to nurture children into Christ-followers. About 70 children ranging from nursery to 5th grade regularly attend various programs such as children’s worship, Sunday school, Friday night, and the nursery. Our community outreach events in the past include Vacation Bible School and a Christmas Party.
Ministry Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Pastors and working with the other pastoral staff, the Newton Campus Children’s Ministry Director will be responsible for developing a vision and strategy for discipleship within children’s ministry that works in conjunction with the vision and ministry of the BCEC
- Provide oversight and planning for all aspects of Children’s Ministry programming including nursery, worship for Pre-K and Elementary, Sunday School, Friday night, and outreach events
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to lead and serve in the various Children’s Ministry departments as well as outreach events
- Select, adapt, and implement curriculum to meet programming objectives
- Develop and implement programs to equip parents/families to disciple their children
- Coordinates safety protocols for Children’s ministry
- Participate in staff meetings and other church events as appropriate
- Partner with other pastoral staff for church-wide programs, operations, and coordination, including the Cantonese and Mandarin congregations at the Newton Campus as well as Chinatown English Ministries
- Participate as a team player and support other staff as needed
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in leading, designing, and developing children’s ministry, preferably in a local church context
- Passionate about serving children and families
- Heart for discipleship, outreach, and evangelism
- Mature Christian character
- Theological training (undergraduate or seminary level) preferred
- Agrees to adhere to the BCEC Constitution, Statement of Faith, mission, vision and values of BCEC
- Ability to adapt and use technology, including virtual collaboration and media tools.
- Strong skills in teaching, leadership, management, administration, and communication
- Languages spoken: English (required).
- Proven experience and effectiveness working in cross-cultural context (While most of the children speak English, many of their families and our volunteers come from Chinese immigrant backgrounds.)
- Prior ministry experience in New England is preferred but not required
