本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. ” (Isaiah 40:29, 31)

Meaning: to be very sick, suffering from a flu or a cold

Melanie: Are you alright, Anna? You were absent from school for a week, and you still look pale today!
Anna: I’ve been as sick as a dog, and I still feel weak today.
Melanie: I’m sorry to hear this! Have you seen a doctor? What did he say?
Anna: He said I’ve caught flu. Type B! It takes so long to fully recover.
Melanie: Relax and don’t worry! Take medicine, have rest and drink lots of water. You’ll be fine!
