親子樂: English Space

本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Helen: Hello, Mary! Chinese New Year is coming.
What do you plan to do during the school holidays（學校假期）?

Mary: Well, I have to study for the mid-year exam（中期試）, so I’m not doing anything particularly interesting（有趣的）.

Helen: I have to prepare for the exam（準備考試） too. But maybewe can see a movie（電影）together. What about Japanesecartoons（日本卡通片）?

Mary: Going to a movie sounds a good idea（好主意）, but animation（動畫）isn’t my cup of tea! Shall we go for the one about space travel（太空漫遊）?

Helen: Fine, as long as it’s not boring（沉悶）!

Even if you do not like tea, you can’t change the word to coffee or water. It has to be “tea”!
