本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Meaning: to recover from a bad experience, often bad health.

Rachel: Victor, do you know what’s happened to Amy? I heard she’s quite unhappy?
Victor: Oh! I thought you knew. She fell from the ladder in her kitchen the other day.
Rachel: Oh! How unfortunate! I’m sorry to hear this. What did the doctor say?
Victor: The doctor said she had a bone fracture. He actually said she was lucky because it could have been much worse. Now, it’ll take her about six weeks to fully recover from the injury.
Rachel: So, you mean she’s not going to her tennis match next month? No wonder she is so depressed. She’s been practicing so hard.
Victor: That’s true. Let’s do our best to support her and help her get back on her feet.
