本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Meaning: Help me.

Alvin: Hi Karanda! Do you know I’ve got lots of things to do at school everyday?

Karanda: Since you’ve become a monitor?

Alvin: Yes, I’ve got a long list of things to do before my first lesson. For example, I have to take newspapers from the Administration Office to my classroom before the first lesson begins.

Karanda: I see! Are they heavy? Do you need me to give you a hand? You know I always arrive at school very early every morning.

Alvin: Yes, they are heavy because all of my classmates have subscribed a copy of the newspaper. It’s great that you could help. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it!
