本報看重讀者們的親子關係，藉著父母與孩子學習英語的時刻，增加他們溝通的機會。使用這教材的方法如下：

Break the Bank

Meaning : costing too much, or too expensive.

Chloe: Hi Amy, I’ve got some good news for you!
Amy : What is it?
Chloe: Your favourite Spanish classical guitarist is coming to town this month.
Amy : That’s really good news. But I guess the tickets must be very expensive.
Chloe: But I think the lowest priced ones are still available. Come on,
you just can’t afford to miss it. A ticket won’t break your bank!
